Rand Water major water shutdown to affect parts of the City

Rand Water our bulk water supplier is planning a major shutdown that is expected to last for 30 hours, from 1pm on 27 February to 28 February 2021 to replace a 800mm valve and bypass valve. Johannesburg Water would like inform residents that the maintenance will affect some parts of the City of Johannesburg and we urge all residents in the below-listed arrears to plan accordingly.

Johannesburg Water has planned to place water tanks to assist when the reservoir levels reach critical levels to minimize the impact.

The following areas will be affected: Coronationville, Westbury, Claremont, Triomf, Westdene, Newlands, Gremont, Alberts Kroon, Albertsville, Langlaagte, Industria, Bosmont, Riverlea, Longdale, Rossmore, Hursthill, Westbury, Montclare, Melville, Emmarentia, Auckland Park, Greenside, Westcliff, Parkview, Vredesdorp, Fordsburg, Brixton, Mayfair, Cottesloe ,
Berario, Fairlands, Northcliff 4, 10, 16, 17 & 22, Maridale, Sophiatown, Newclare, Constantia Kloof , Florida Noord and Janhofmeyer

Customer satisfaction survey 2021

Johannesburg Water is conducting its annual Customer Satisfaction Survey from March 2021 in all the regions of the City of Johannesburg.
The Customer Satisfaction Survey is carried out for Johannesburg Water to rate its services to the residents of the City, to determine what to change and what to improve.

Johannesburg Water has contracted Insendlu Business Companion to conduct the survey. The field workers going door to door to conduct the survey will be dressed in bibs that have the Johannesburg Water logo and identity cards with the Johannesburg Water and Insendlu Business Companions logos. Customers can further verify the workers by calling 011 640 5899/6299.

In the previous year, 2020, Johannesburg Water received great feedback of 71% satisfaction from the residents of the City of Johannesburg. Customers were happy with the good quality and uninterrupted supply of water.

The Company aims to receive even better feedback this year and keep improving its services. This is an advantage for all Johannesburg Water customers to ask questions and make inputs on issues of service delivery. The entity needs to know how its customers are feeling.
