The Forest Hill reservoir levels recovered quite well during the night. We are at the level where we can start pumping. The electricians are on their way to site to start the pumps. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.
We appeal to all to use water sparingly and to remind them that level one water restrictions are still in place. Watering of gardens is not allowed between 6 am and 6 pm in summer months (1 Sept to 31 March) and furthermore, it is not allowed to wash paved areas and driveway using hosepipes.

Rand Water, our bulk water supplier, had a power failure affecting both their purification plants yesterday morning. The issue was resolved and Rand Water managed to recover most of their systems without any interruption. However, their Forest Hill reservoirs were running at critical low levels last night negatively impacting our Forest Hill Tower.
Water supply is interrupted in the following areas:
