Rand Water tie-in (B6 Pipeline)
Johannesburg Water (JW) wishes to inform residents of the Rand Water planned maintenance of its B6 pipeline from the 19th to 23rd August 2022. This tie-in is scheduled to start at 17h00 on 19 August 2022 and is scheduled to be completed at 09h00 on 23 August 2022. The scheduled tie-in is for the newly constructed B6 pipeline which has been constructed to augment a portion of the existing B6 pipeline.
JW would like to inform residents to be cautious of the circulating false information causing panic. Water supply will only be reduced by 10% during the maintenance period.
Alexander Park reservoir zone:
Kensington, Ben rose, Heriotdale, Denver, De Wetshof, The Gardens, Malvern, Cleveland, Elcedes, Wychwood.
South Hills Tower zone:
Risana, Linmeyer, South Hills, Tulisa Park, Steeledale, The Hill, Oakdene, Rosettenville and Klipriviersberg Estate.
Grand Central Reservoir:
Halfway House, Glen Austin, Grand Central, Parts of Waterfall.
Corporate Park Reservoir:
Randjesfontein, Country View.
Rabie Ridge Reservoir:
Rabie Ridge, Mayibuye, Midrand Business Park, Commercia, Waterfall Complex.
Erand Reservoir:
Erand South, Noordwyk, Vona Valley, Kyalami, Waterfall, Halfway Gardens.
Randjesfontein Tower:
Randjesfontein, Randjiespark
Customers are requested to use water sparingly during this period to avoid supply shortages.
Johannesburg Water apologises to customers for the inconvenience caused.
