Parktown 2, Dunkeld, and Berea reservoirs update
Configuration of the systems were implemented overnight. There was slight improvement at the Parktown 2 Reservoir and satisfactory improvement at the Berea Reservoir.
However, the reservoirs are still low due to challenges in supply and increased consumption. The Dunkeld Reservoir also remains critically low.
All three reservoirs remain low, and customers within these supply zones will experience poor pressure to no water supply, especially in high-lying areas.
There is no estimated time for restoration currently; however, Johannesburg Water continues to implement configuration changes to boost the system. The Entity will closely monitor and make necessary adjustments to improve the situation.
Alternative water supply will be arranged for affected customers as and when necessary.
