Klipfontein View update
Water supply issues continue to persist in the Klipfontein View area, which is still being affected by high demand on the bulk supplying reservoir.
This is affecting the supply to the Chloorkop Reservoir, which still has low levels, this is resulting in poor pressure to no water, especially in high-lying areas of Klipfontein View.
There is currently no estimated time for recovery. However, Johannesburg Water continues to closely monitor the situation.
Johannesburg Water is working with its stakeholders on the completion of the alternative supply of reticulation water targeted for the first week of October 2024.
Alternative water supply also continues to be provided where required.
