Johannesburg Water is monitoring infrastructure to ensure that capacity is sustained.
Customers are requested to use water sparingly, which will significantly assist in the recovery of constrained systems.
1. Alexander Park reservoir:
Reservoir levels remain critically low. Customers are urged to reduce consumption.
2. Brixton system:
Reservoir is critically low, and tower is operating normally.
3.Hursthill systems:
Both reservoirs are critically low.
4. Parktown 2 reservoir:
Reservoir levels are critically low.
5. Ennerdale reservoir:
Reservoir levels are critically low.

1. Supply outage at Grand Central Tower
Customers in the Grand Central tower zone are impacted by the Eskom outage at the mini substation.
Upon the replacement of mini substation by Eskom, water supply to the tower will be restored.
Alternate water supply through mobile tankers is being arranged, with priority provided to critical customers such as clinics etc.
Further updates will be provided to customers.

1. Johannesburg Water Customer Notice: Emergency shutdown- asbestos cement mains replacement at Uranium/ Cedar Road, Witkoppen.
Johannesburg Water wishes to inform customers that further pipe replacement will be done at Uranium corner Cedar rd, Witkoppen. Due to the nature of the work to be completed, the intersection leading into Uranium Road will be closed off. There will be no access from Cedar Road into Uranium Road. Once repairs are completed, the road will be reopened.
