We will be closing Orange Farm reservoir outlet for approximately 5 hours due to the ongoing investigation at Stretfird ext 4. Affected areas will be Orange farm all extentions. Community that will need water during the closure are urged to keep water that they will use in containers.

Repairs were completed at 99 Lyndhurst road, however there was a pipe burst at 97 Lyndhurst rd. The standby team repaired the burst early this morning.

Lenasia High Level Reservoir and Lenasia Hospital Hill Reservoir will be closed today at 13H30 to build storage as increase in water usage coupled with water restrictions impacts on reservoirs storage levels. Currently both Reservoirs have water but approaching empty. We ask residents to keep water that they will need on containers. We anticipate to open by 17H00 then close again at 21H00. Affected areas will be Zakarya Park, Vlakfontein, Lehae, Hospital Hills, Lenasia South, Migson Manor, Finetown.
