Please note that Lenasia High Level Reservoir and Lenasia Hospital Hillss Reservoir will be closed today at 13H00 to build storage as increase in water usage coupled with water restrictions impacts on reservoirs storage levels. Currently both Reservoirs have water but approaching empty. We ask residents to keep water that they will need on containers. We anticipate to open by 17H00 then close again at 21H00.
Affected areas: Zakarya Park, Vlakfontein, Lehae, Hospital Hills, Lenasia South, Migson Manor, Finetown

Kindly note that the burst in Northriding has been repaired. The depot is currently opening up water, and it will take approx.04-05 hours for the network to be fully charged and water restored in all affected areas.

Water Restrictions in the City of Johannesburg
Please note that the water restrictions are still the same. We have seen a slight improvement in the Hursthill, Crosby and Brixton reservoirs since we started pumping into the system yesterday. The Rand Water Reservoirs has not improved thus we have not been able to pump into the South Hills Tower.
