Rand Water bulk water supplier

05 February 2022

Rand Water, our bulk water supplier, experienced pump trips on their Zuikerbosch and Vereeniging raw water systems on Thursday night into Friday morning. Although this has since been resolved and pumps are back to normal, their Forest Hill reservoirs were running at critical low levels last night negatively impacting our Forest Hill Tower.

We are monitoring the situation and awaiting the Forest Hill reservoir levels to improve from Rand Water to enable us to pump. We have started with arrangements for alternative water supply if the situation does not improve soon.
