Please kindly note that there is a major burst pipe on corner Cladon and 5th roads in Chartwell. Team is onsite busy with repairs and we estimate to be completed later today. Affected areas include parts of Broadacres, Needwood, Chartwell, Maroeladal and Farmall. Tanks have been placed in Chartwel and Broadacres shopping centre.
We appeal to all to use water sparingly and to remind them that level one water restrictions are still in place. Watering of gardens is not allowed between 6 am and 6 pm in summer months (1 Sept to 31 March) and furthermore, it is not allowed to wash paved areas and driveway using hosepipes.

Kindly note that we have a major burst on a 315mm PVC pipe in Klipspruit, next to Eskom depot. The team is busy isolating to start with repairs. We do not have the estimated time of completion and will organize roaming tanks to affected areas.
