18 Jan 2022:JW Update: Emergency shutdown Major burst 161 Rivonia rd at ( Land Rover) Morningside:
Repairs are completed. Pipeline in process of being supported in the excavation to prevent further bursts.
Hydrants being flushed to remove air from the system.
Water to be restored from 8pm.
Affected areas include:
Parts of Morningside, Strathavon and Sandown.

Due to major burst on the 450mm HDPE main.
Repairs are completed. Pipeline in process of being supported in the excavation to prevent further bursts.
