Systems Update
City Power has implemented load rotation that is affecting some of Johannesburg Water systems.
The following systems are affected:
– Florida North Tower,
– Waterval Tower,
– Quellerina and
– Yeoville Pump station.
A combination of poor pressure and no water is expected during load rotation.
Corriemoor and Fairlands Reservoirs have since improved and supplying normally during the course of the day.
Horizon Tower has since improved and supplying normally.
Rand Water maintenance will be commencing from this evening for Eikenhof, Zwartkopjes and Daleside pump stations. Johannesburg Water will monitor the systems during the maintenance. JW’s alternative water plan will come into effect as and when required.
